'Harmony Being the Support of this Institution'

It is with distinct honor and humility that I serve Royal Eagle Lodge #1 as the elected Worshipful Master for the Masonic year 2008 – 2009. I thank the members of the Craft for showing the confidence in myself along with the newly elected cabinet as we take Royal Eagle to new heights this year. The Eagle has once again spread its wings and the beacon of Light shines on brightly.

This year Royal Eagle celebrates 111 years of existence. This is something we are all proud of as members of this lodge, the Prince Hall Family and indeed Bahamians. We are all proud of the legacy of Royal Eagle and the rich history shared by its members. The harmonious nature with which we work together will continue to move the Craft and community in a positive direction.

While embracing the new technologies available to us we continue to follow the guidelines of the Landmarks that have kept Masonry thriving for centuries. The tenets of Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth are steady reminders of why we as Masons must continue with the work that we perform.
